Happy people do a lot of things. They are thankful for what they have, they express gratitude, are always in positive thoughts and practising kindness. Think Negative

Yes, people do that. The memory of an incident that occurred 10 years ago is more than enough to trigger the unpleasant memories. Happy people do not hold on to grudges and resentments. They find it easy to forgive, forget and move on. make a choice and let today be the day you stop being haunted by the ghosts from your past. Focus on the happiness in your life and let go of the bad memories. You’ve already started to live a happy life!

Have expectations

When was the last time you felt disappointed because things did not go the way you expected it to? In most cases, people who have unrealistic expectations are the ones who are disappointed most often. Try and get into a situation with an open mind and you’ll be amazed at the options that are given to you.

Be a part of the crowd

It’s easy to follow the crowd, because that is a safe path to tread on. Isn’t it? But that also reflects on your esteem and self-confidence. When you are confident about yourself, your thoughts and your abilities, you are confident about the decisions you take. It makes you “different”from the crowd and your actions make you happy.

Take things to heart

Its easy to give a feedback, but is it equally easy to receive a feedback too? Do you sit and analyze the situation or the comments and wonder what made the person talk about you that way? Try this, the next time someone offers a feedback to you; listen completely. Avoid selective hearing! Think of how much more you could achieve with a new perspective, one seen only through your eyes.

Being happy is a state of mind and it is your choice and how your perceive things that can make you be positive and happy about things in life or be sad. What is the choice that you are making today?
