Nutritious energy snack


Have you been feeling low on energy or are lethargic? Do you like to indulge in a cup of hot tea or coffee to get rid of the lethargy? If you noticed that of late you have been fighting the urge to nap on your desk after lunch or even at home then maybe the coffee and the tea are not really the best solutions for you build up the energy levels. Swap that cuppa tea and coffee with this delicious energy snack that is nutritious and healthy and is packed with loads of healthy ingredients. This easy to make energy snack will help you keep fatigue at bay and will also act as a healthier option to snack in between meals.

What you need to make this energy snack 

  • 500 gms dates de-pitted
  • 500 gms walnuts
  • 100 gms sunflower seeds
  • 100 gms pumpkin seeds
  • 50 gms freshly powdered flax seed
  • 100 gms wheat germ
  • 4 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

How to make the snack

  • Powder all the ingredients except the dates in a blender.
  • Hand crush the dates and mix it with the powder.
  • Add the olive oil to this mixture and roll out in between your palms as dumplings.
  • Store them in an airtight container.
